Since 2001, our warm hospitality has touched more than 60,000 guests at more than 90 successful events around the Bay Area. I am proud to serve a broad and diverse client family: large and small, local and international, government and private, and everyone in between.
We produced several intimate dinner events for this Fortune 500 company’s executives over the years, garnering rave reviews. Hosted at renowned venues, each dinner incorporated memorable elements such as chef demonstrations, winemaker presentations and food & wine pairing seminars.
Chilipepper planned and managed the food & beverage operations responsible for feeding ten thousand guests in one evening at this signature biennial bash. Streets around San Francisco’s glamorous City Hall were closed off for this massive street party, which wound through multiple buildings and tented venues. Among the tuxedos and gowns were numerous restaurant food stations as well as a VIP tent, where guests enjoyed plenty of great food and drink served with attentive hospitality.
Chilipepper has produced this renowned cultural celebration and fundraiser since 2005, and we are honored to have helped shape and elevate it to be one of the premiere cultural events in San Francisco. Featuring many well-known dancers and performers from around the world, the Gala kicks off the festival with a special cultural theme each year. We work closely with the client on such aspects as food presentation, color scheme and overall theme, and source and select restaurants to best support the authenticity and theme of the evening.
In partnership with the Asian Chefs Association and Williams-Sonoma, we recruited a select group of ten Asian chefs to be featured and promoted throughout a year-long educational campaign in Williams-Sonoma’s San Francisco stores. We assisted each chef in preparing an Asian cooking seminar unique to his or her culture and culinary viewpoint. Content included Asian ingredient education and cooking techniques, as well as integrated product promotions.
The month of May is nationally designated as Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Chilipepper has managed the associated APA Heritage event since 2006, helping provide San Francisco with a unique opportunity to showcase the diverse history, culture and accomplishments of its Asian and Pacific Islander communities. The APA celebration includes a Sponsors’ Reception and Awards Reception, serving 700 attendees in the Herbst Theater and the Green Room at San Francisco’s War Memorial Veterans Building.
