It was an exciting and busy Spring for Chilipepper Event ™ (CPE), as we steadily grew the business by helping our new and returning clients put on successful, fun events. Now, Summer is finally here and it’s time to relax a little and enjoy the pleasures of this season. What will you be doing with your Summer? I am taking time to do a series of spiritual retreats to re-energize my inner self. I am also looking forward to spending more time having fun in the sun with my kids, who are enjoying a break from their school year routine. My family can’t wait to play, relax and catch up with our friends over BBQs and outdoor activities.
One of the most enjoyable events of Chilipepper’s Summer takes place on Saturday, June 22 at the Healthy Parks Healthy People Festival at Quarry Lake in Fremont. This wonderful gathering aims to encourage local communities and families to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day by enjoying the great outdoors in the parks. If you are in the area, we hope you can join us! There will be ethnic entertainment, music, children’s activities, cooking demonstrations and food trucks. This event aligns with Chilipepper Event’s goals and passion for supporting the sustainability, health and creative re-use movement and we are so honored to be part of it for the third year in a row.
This summer CPE will be giving back to the local community by volunteering with Boy Scouts of America’s summer camp. In the Fall, CPE will be once again donating our time to assist the Asian Business League (ABL) with their Annual Gala fundraiser in November to promote Asian American leadership in corporate America and their “CEO in You” programs. In addition, we will continue our volunteer activities building urban vegetable gardens in schools to promote farm to table healthy dining for children.
Finally, we want to thank you for past referrals and remind you that we are always grateful for the opportunity to assist anyone you know who could use our professional services to make their large or small event fun, easy and successful. We are happy to show our sincere thanks for referrals in many ways, including monetarily.
The Chilipepper Event ™ family wishes you and yours a very enjoyable Summer. We hope you will take some time to kick back, relax and enjoy doing something you love with those you care about.

Golden Gate Organics
During my ten years of service in the Coast Guard I traveled all over the United States and met countless people. All of them different in various ways yet many of them shared the same values about healthy chemical-free food that I do. This growing chorus of unanimous concern over our food is what led me to say goodbye to my military career and found Golden Gate Organics (GGO) in March of 2011.
We started in the city of Alameda and have slowly expanded to cover the entire East Bay. I am proud to say that, over the last two years, we have been able to donate over $5,000 of organic produce to the Alameda Food Bank.
Our mission at GGO is to educate the public about just what exactly organic food is, why it is different, and why people should care — all while providing the highest quality organic produce and service. The reputation we are building with GGO customers is a great one. Our members see the difference between us and the other organic produce delivery services and they rave about our ability to customize their orders, and most importantly, our excellent customer service. It also doesn’t hurt that we are the only business of our kind based in the East Bay…(read more…)
